About Sound Therpay at the OM-azing Studio
If your energy levels are up and down, you’re struggling to deal with stress, anxiety or bottled-up emotions and you desperately want to hit the ‘reset’ button, you can discover a deep sense of relaxation, repair and balance in our sound therapy sessions.
Have you noticed how music can impact your mood, perking you up and filling you with energy or making you feel peaceful and calm? What you’re probably unaware of is how it affects your brain waves, nervous system and overall body chemistry.
Sound therapy is a non-invasive, complementary therapy. It harnesses ancient understanding of how people respond to sound. By provoking a sensory reaction, it brings your emotions to the forefront and creates a secure space, where these can be dealt with sub-consciously.
Shift blocked or stagnant energy.
Balance your emotions, raise your self-awareness and feel more positive.
Connect with your creativity and intuition.
Relax, switch off and lower stress levels.
Our sound therapies often make use of the resonant tones of singing bowls, the soothing vibrations of gongs, the gentle melodies of chimes and the rhythmic beat of the drum. We also use sounds that evoke nature: the rustle of leaves, the lap of water, a gust of wind.
These sound baths can help you find personal equilibrium and a sense of peacefulness through the meditative state they create.

Sound Therapy FAQ
-
Many people benefit from sound therapy, however, if you suffer from sensitivity to loud noises, seizure disorders or have mental health conditions it may not be suitable for you or would need to be approached with caution. If you are unsure whether sound therapy would be suitable for you please get in touch to discuss your questions.
Sound Therapy is generally suitable for most people. However, it may not be suitable for everyone in certain circumstances.

Your experience of a sound bath will be as unique and individual as you are. We all respond to sound differently. You might feel re-charged and re-energised. You might awaken powerful visions or creative urges. You may feel profoundly healed or as if you finally have answers to long unanswered questions. Or you could just feel totally relaxed (some people sleep through the entire session).
